Just finished watching threads. All I can say is damn.

I might get back with a thought out response in an hour or two, maybe.

Oh, and am I the only one that finds it sad that non english speakers are having to explain sarcasm to native english speakers? I think it's very sad.

Bikes only add to TDU as well. I think the new PGR looks pretty impressive, I really like the rain effects. I might buy it, if just to play every once in a while. I hardly ever play PGR3 though, not since I got TDU and Forza 2 came out.

RBR, without a question. I'd say for arcade rally, Rallisport Challenge 2 trumps CMR, but Rallisport Challenge isn't for PC, only XBOX. Colin McRae DIRT looks amazing, but I'm sure it'll handle like crap.

Again, Richard Burns Rally is the only way to go.

Quote from Hankstar :Yeah, afaik that's how it is in all road cars (like the Golf I was talking about), but in race cars it's the opposite and, to me, that makes much more sense.

The only road cars I've ever seen that have it the "right" way are BMW and Mazda, on both of them, you pull back to upshift, and push forward to downshift. I remember reading once that the ISO standard for sequentials was to push forward to upshift, so the standard is wrong, lol.

Quote from evilgeek :oh ya, because LFS needs to be more like GTA/SA? can we get out of our cars and shoot each other in the face after a T1 crash too?

We need that, for sure

Quote from Gunn :The entire planet is a fall guy for the rest of the administration. But anyway.... life goes on. :Kick_Can_

Well, yeah, that too....

While I think Bush commuting the sentence of one of his buddies is completely despicable, I think it's actually justified. Scooter Libby is a crook, no doubt, but in this case, he really was a fall guy for the rest of the administration, if you listen to the statements from the jury, all the jury members say that.

The man the really should be behind bars is still sitting the the Vice President's office..

Quote from BlakjeKaas :Well, if you see how he steers, there are 3 options.

1. He doesn´t steer by himself
2. the phyics of the game suck
3. both

I vote for option 2. I've played GT4 with a wheel, and it's a lot like that

Quote from Jertje :I think his dad is controlling the car with a joypad, or at least that was the story.

I dunno, listen to the engine and watch his feet on the pedals, the sounds and his inputs match up.

No, S2 is NOT worth buying. I certainly haven't enjoyed the heck out of LFS the past almost 5 year, I certainly don't like the close and clean racing S2 has to offer. I most definitely don't like all the extra cars and tracks S2 has to offer, and I certainly don't wish I'd discovered LFS sooner..

All of the above was sarcasm, by the way. By S2, you won't regret it, it's great.

There's no reason you shouldn't be able to drift a Supra without changing the settings. Look at Top Gear, they get stock cars sideways all the time, and I don't see them tinkering around with suspension settings..

I personally right foot brake, even with my two pedal DFP, I just throttle blip like I do in my real car. LFB feels so weird and unnatural to me, I honestly can't do it. I could probably teach myself, but I really don't notice that much of a performance difference right foot braking.

When I'm doing rallyx or something though, I will occasionally tap the brakes with my left foot to rotate the car in the corner, not often though, as most of the time, a quick throttle lift does the same thing.

I'm curious as to what you were trying to do with the data? No particular reason, I just like to know stuff

The Xbox 360 wheel has two vibration motors and Force Feedback

I also think vibration would be kinda cool if implemented right, not jsut for the engine, but also for varying road surfaces on different tracks.

What do you mean it's not a lot? Old RX-7s are sweet! I love those cars.
